Abstract
The Myoshoji river basin covers 20.7km2,consisiting of a part of Guginami,Nakano,Nerima Shinjyuku District of wester part of Tokyo. Population in the basin are 350,000 in 2011. In early Meiji era,there were 15villages in the basin and every villages has similar land use . thorough the modernization after Meiji restriction ,the basin has changed from the above agricultural village to Tokyo's urban area by lage scale of land readjustment . This study aims to seek the changing of landscape on residential quarter in connection withformulation of street pattern
