Abstract
This study conducted a long term (spatially high dense) stationary measurement in many locations in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture. The first objective of this study is to understand the actual monthly mean UHI of a mid-sized city that have not been studied as much using the stationary measurement method through results obtained from the measurement. The second objective of this study is to compute the UHII, which is an urban bias in global warming assessments, while at the same time, to evaluate the impact of non-uniformity of urban air temperature on such computation.
