Abstract
Public transportation reconstruction is a long-time theme from the age of motorization, and an ageing society is new point of view that needs solutions with the sustainable transportation system. Toyama city suggested an urban policy mainly utilizing public transportations to improve living environments/levels of aged citizens in the city master plan in 2008. For this policy, the level of public transportation and the mobility using them had increased after 2005. Geographical points of view contribute to this theme by original spatial analysis in combination with several data and in comparing areas.
