Abstract
GLOBE is “Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment” program which was proposed by the former American Vice-President Al Goa at April 22, 1994 (Earth Day). In schools pupils and students make environmental observations such as atmosphere, water, soil, land cover phenology and so on by the same protocol all over the world. Their protocols are determined on the scientific levels as scientists can make use of their data for scientific researches. GLOBE Japan has participated in this program since the first year in 1995.At this poster we are explaining the practices of this program in Japan for 20 years.
