Abstract
The content of the guided tours of global geoparks in Asia, which the author visited as an evaluator of the Global Geoparks Network, is summarized and compared with that of the tours of the Japanese geoparks. The story told in the tours the author joined in those Asian geoparks is predominantly about geology and does not include much about geomorphological or geographical point of view. Geographer can change this situation by participating in the process of evaluation of geoparks.
