Abstract
The museum of Danish America is located at Elk Horn, Iowa. In this paper, it is clarified that the most important role of this museum with multiple functions should be considered as encouraging Danish-American
to reproduce their culture that unites Danish tradition, Danish-American experiences and the present Danish culture, by reading the articles of “America Letter”, the museum journal. Finally, it is concluded by investigating the distribution of donors to the museum, that Danish Americans in the Midwest make a substantial contribution to the museum's activities but that the museum is also the cultural center in all America.
