Abstract
The Geospatial Informtion Authority of Japan has established an internal group named "Geographic Education Support Team" in november 2015 to structurize and systemize the actions for supporting geograpgic education.  The team published "problems of geographic education and proposal of actions by GSI" in June 2016.
