Abstract

Kurokawa Onsen Hot Spring Resort is located in Aso area of Kumamoto prefecture. By the impact of the Kumamoto Earthquake, the number of visitors at Kurokawa Onsen has decreased rapidly, due to negative propaganda caused by closure of road out of the area. This presentation shows how tourism demand is affected by disaster, especially for huge earthquake in Japan.
