Population dynamics and migration in Tyrol, Austria

Abstract

The Population of Tyrol, Austria has been consistently increased since the
latter half of the 19^th century. The natural increase has shown continuously
positive and the net migration has been positive as well since the 1950s. The
paper concerns how the Land Tyrol could have successfully continued to increase
its population. This paper investigates population on county level and tries to
make clear the regional system of population increase within the Land Tyrol.
