Abstract
Water resources are abundant in volcanic areas, and grasp of water environmental problems becomes important for conservation and use. In particular, it is thought that water pollution caused by the eruption has a great influence on living and agriculture due to components eluted from the volcanic ejecta. Based on this, I started studying how the eruption that occurred in Hakone on June 29, 2015 influences the surrounding water environment. As a result of the survey, it turned out that the turbidity of the river became thinner over time than immediately after the eruption. However, there are times when turbidity becomes strong by precipitation and the like. In Owakuzawa with Owakudani as the source area, we observed high EC and low pH, especially after eruption, 6,780 μS / cm, pH 2.4 respectively. In the long term, EC declines, pH tends to rise. However, high EC, low pH may be observed due to rainwater draining substances accumulated in the river bed.
