Abstract
Altai Mountain is a big portion of Snow Leopard population in where still 500 ~ 900 heads are inhabited. They were once feared and respected by old custom of local Mongolian nomads. However the situation of both the two has been changed around 2010’s into a tense mode which Snow Leopard are threatened by illegal hunting due to retaliate against livestock predatory. This study is groping a way of co-existence with Snow Leopard from a view of ecological conservation researches in; R1. incident of eyewitness and encounter, and R2. quantification of scale and casualty of livestock predatory.
