Abstract
Inundation water volume can be estimated using existing digital elevation model (DEM) and inundation area data interpreted from aerial photo. However, the influence of the difference in DEM used on the estimation of inundation water volume is unknown. Therefore, the calculation of inundation water volume by using various DEM and comparison of the results were implemented. As a result, the following was found: 1) there is no great difference between the case of 5mDEM and case of 10mDEM resampled from 5mDEM, 2) 10mDEM of fundamental geospatial data is insufficient.
