Machiko TSUBAKI (Tokyo Gakugei Univ.)
Landscape consists of various elements in the region and society. It is most important material in geography education. It has been recognized that landscape has value as local resources and is related to local identity. We cut intentionally and express landscape photographs as showing regional characteristics. Decoding of landscape photographs means understanding of region and society geographically. But it is so difficult for most of students and teachers to understand relation and compositeness of various elements among landscape photographs.
Therefore I examine geographical viewpoints and frame understanding local region by landscape photographs and consider the effectiveness and the utilization method of them.
