Abstract

This study clarified the relationship between landform and disaster in Niigata city, Japan. In order to investigate the topography change of Niigata sand dunes for 100 years around the Niigata urban area, DEM was created using the 1/25000 topographical map in 1911. The change of height in Niigata sand dunes was around 30 m maximum.
