Abstract

The author proposed a new method for smoothing small area demographics required for population projections, and after that, using the method, developed the original website “The Web system of Small Area Population Projections for the Whole Japan” in 2016. Furthermore, using know-how obtained through development of the above website, the author released “The Web Mapping System of Small Area Population Projections for Taiwan” in 2019. This presentation introduces the latter system.
