Abstract

In the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake, a huge tsunami that far exceeded the forecast attacked. Since the inundation range of the floods during the recent heavy rains generally matched the assumptions of hazard maps, the government are asking residents to take action based on hazard maps, but is it well communicated that it is necessary to consider that the hazard map in the narrow sense is based on a specific hypothesis? It is important to return to the land classification maps to understand how your feet have been established and what natural behaviors will work in the future.
