Creation of land-sea integrated seafloor elevation data and coastal / shallow seafloor topographic classification based on drone surveys in the southernmost part of the Kii Peninsula

Abstract

This study applied a technique of the photographic surveying from the sky using the drone to the bottom of the sea investigation and, for the purpose of high-resolution and high-precision, the navigation of the investigation ship getting the topography information of the Asanami bottom including dangerous reef area or shore broken zone in the wide area, carried out an investigation in Kushimotocho of the southernmost part of Kii Peninsula region.
