In this study, we analyze population migration after a natural disaster using data after the Great East Japan Earthquake. Previous studies have pointed out that socially vulnerable people tend to concentrate in areas that were not developed before the disaster, and that there is a similar tendency for population migration after the Great East Japan Earthquake. Therefore, this study focuses on single-mother households, which tend to have particular difficulties in Japan, and analyzes the migration tendency after the Great East Japan Earthquake.
