Location patterns of local restaurant chain and lifestyle of local resident

Abstract

This research aims at examining the role of local restaurant chains in comparison with national restaurant chains through a case study of udon chains in Kagawa Prefecture. The udon restaurant of local chains are located in residential area or near factories and office buildings, while the udon restaurant of national chains are located in commercial areas. From the view point of lifestyle, it is important to examine the location of local udon chains.
