Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to respond to this research topic by exploring the best way to learn regional geography in geography education curriculum for K-12. This research method will be examined based on the curriculum guidelines in Japan, and framework for geography education curriculum for K-12 by Yoshida (2023), which is based on geographical concepts.

In this report, I would like to propose a somewhat concrete framework for regional geography learning in geography education curriculum for K-12.
