Abstract

Criticizes the recent German book, ‘Studien zur Soziologie der Bibliothek,’ by Peter Karstedt, especially about his main discussions such as library in the cultural history, approach through sociology of types and sociology of knowledge, suggesting macroscopic and microscopic research methods on library.
