Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the case of the office building called “Premium Midsize Office” developed by Nomura Real Estate Co., Ltd from the point of view of its strategy formulation process. The company was the first to develop a medium-sized and high-grade office building market with one single-floor tenant. Why was the company able to enter into such a potential market? A case analysis revealed its emergent strategy formulation process.
