Abstract
In order to make source apportionment, individual particle analysis combined with cluster analysis was performed on typical urban atmospheric airborne particulates: one type was collected beside a roadway (R samples) and the other was collected in a subway station (S sample). The results of source apportionment of R samples showed 7 major source types. S sample showed some sources related to railway such as the particles mainly containing iron, in addition to some sources related to road way.
