A NEW R.I. SOURCE EXCITING EDXRF ANALYSER

Abstract

A source exciting EDXRF Analyser was developed. It has advantage of simple structure, minimal routine maintenance and low cost. The microprocessor controlled multichannel peak-height-analyzer and energy dispersive technique is adopted. Proportional counters are employed as detectors. Elements from A1 through U can be analysed with air environment. It has been successfully applied to analysis of cement rawmix, alumina and zinc slag etc..
