Abstract

The title compound (C8H11Cl N2O) was synthesized by microwave-assisted organic synthesis technique and characterized by X-ray diffraction method. It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with cell parameters a = 7.251 Å, b = 13.195(1)Å, c = 9.835(1)Å, Z = 4. The final residual factor is R1 = 0.0651 for 1552 reflections with I > 2σ(I). The structure exhibits intermolecular hydrogen bonds.
