Crystal Structure of a Trinitrate{2,2′-[2,3-naphthylenebis(oxy)]-bis(N,N-diisopropyl(acetamide))}yttrium(III) complex

Abstract

The title complex with a tetradentate ligand, 2,2′-[2,3-naphthylenebis(oxy)]-bis(N,N-diisopropyl(acetamide)), was prepared and its crystal structure was determined by X-ray crystallography. The crystal reveals that complex [Y(NO₃)₃(L)] is a mononuclear complex. The Y atom is ten-coordinated by four O atoms from a tetradentate ligand and three nitrate anions in a distorted bicapped dodecahedron.
