Abstract
The title complex, {[Ag(24tbp)2]SbF6}n (24tbp = 2,4-thiobispyridine), was synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis. The geometry of the Ag(I) center shows a tetrahedron, coordinated by two 2-pyridinyl and two 4-pyridinyl moieties from four different 24tbp molecules. Each 24tbp joints two Ag(I) ions through two N atoms in respective pyridine groups, and results in a one-dimensional ladder structure.
