Abstract
The title complex crystallized in the monoclinic space group P21/n, with Z = 4, a = 7.566(3)Å, b = 11.539(4)Å, c = 16.349(7)Å, β = 97.51(2)°, V = 1415.1(9)Å3, and R = 0.0328. The metal ion exhibits a cis-N4Cl2 distorted octahedral geometry, with the two dimethylglyoxime (H2dmg) ligands chelating through their oxime N-atom donors. The two bite angles (75.00(7)° and 74.94(8)°) are much smaller than that in [Ni(Hdmg)2] (80°).
