Abstract
The title compound, C12H10N4S (3), crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c, with cell constants a = 5.6627(10)Å, b = 27.640(5)Å, c = 7.5634(14)Å, β = 99.976(3)°, and Z = 4. The regioselective formation of this compound is a result of a steric consideration. The three heterocyclic rings are in-plane bound, and in the crystal lattice molecules of 3 are arranged in layers with a distance of 3.612 Å.
