Abstract

A new bioactive intermediate, 1-benzhydrylpiperazine, crystallizes in monoclinic space group P2₁/c with cell parameters a = 10.171(8)Å, b = 9.599(5)Å, c = 15.526(13)Å, β = 107.861(2)° and Z = 4. The piperazine ring is in the chair conformation.
