The crystal structure of N-(4-chloro-2-hydroxyphenyl)-5-methoxysalicylaldimine was determined by X-ray diffraction at room temperature. The compound crystallizes in an orthorhombic system, and space group P212121. Unit-cell dimensions are the following: a = 7.3074(5)Å, b = 8.3166(7)Å, c = 21.782(2)Å, V = 1323.7(2)Å3, Z = 4. The molecule is non-planar and twisted around a C-N single bond. The molecule has N…H-O type intramolecular hydrogen bonding.
