We are pleased to announce the 36th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Nuclear Cardiology (JSNC 2026), to be held at the ACRIE Himeji (Himeji Convention Centre) in Himeji, Japan, on 12–13 June 2026.
The theme is “Translating Evidence Data to the Individual Patient”.
Despite continual advances in imaging technology enhancing diagnostic performance in nuclear cardiology, the fundamental challenge remains: how can we apply accumulated evidence to the care of each individual patient? JSNC 2026 will address this issue by offering a clinically focused program aimed at translating research and population-level data into bedside decision-making.
Planned topics include:
- Multimodality imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning
- AI-enhanced cardiac nuclear imaging to improve diagnostic accuracy
- The recently revised diagnostic algorithm for cardiac amyloidosis (updated this spring).
- Contemporary areas of interest, such as triglyceride deposit cardiomyopathy (TGCV) and MINOCA/INOCA
- Trends in domestic and overseas fellowships and training (a session especially targeted at young clinicians).
- Imaging diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases and collaboration with local clinics
These topics are currently being planned to reflect both cutting-edge science and daily clinical needs.
Applications will open for the Japanese Society of Nuclear Cardiology Awards: the Japanese Society of Nuclear Cardiology Award, the Japanese Society of Nuclear Cardiology Technologist Award and the Young Investigators Award. We encourage participation from all clinicians, technologists, researchers, trainees, and allied health professionals. Abstract submissions and award applications are welcome — details will be posted on the conference website.
We look forward to your active participation in Himeji.
