抄録

A new antibiotic, ablastmycin (C18H31N5O10, λmax 274mμ in 0.1N HCl,
[α]25D=+60°in H2O), inhibiting Piricularia oryzae and Helminthosporiume was isolated. The producing strain was classified as Streptomyces aburaviensis var. ablastmyceticus. Production, isolation, purification and physico-chemical properties of this antibiotic are described.
