Lividomycin (LVM) was applied to 12 cases of post-operative urinary tract infections.Ten cases were Pseudomonas infection, and another 2 cases were Escherichia coli and Rettgerella infections. Good responses to LVM were observed in 4 of 10 cases with Pseudomonas and an acute pyelonephritis case with E.coli, while poor response in Rettgerella infection. No side effect was observed on renal and hepatic functions.
