Stendomycin: A New Antifungal Antibiotic

Abstract

Stendomycin, a new antifungal antibiotic, has been obtained from a streptomycete isolated from soil. This communication will describe the organism and medium employed for the production of stendomycin, the isolation procedures, and some of the physical, chemical, and biological properties of the purified antifungal antibiotic.
