Mg-Al Layered double hydroxides (LDHs) with different M2+/ M3+ (M2+=Mg, M3+=Al) atomic ratios were prepared by the co-precipitation method. Layered double hydroxides (LDHs), also known as anionic clays or hydrotalcite-like materials, containing intercalated anions constituted by metal complexes. The hydroxides and the mixed oxides obtained were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), BET and Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The basic properties of the mixed oxides are strongly dependent on the LDHs' chemical composition. It was found that difference adsorption capability of anions according to changed molar ratio of Mg 2+/Al 3+ LDHs.
