Knowledge Management in Plant Operation

抄録

Extracting tacit knowledge from the workplace is essential for sustaining safe and efficient plant operations. In this paper, we apply a model of knowledge management to transform tacit knowledge into formal or explicit knowledge. The model is composed of knowledge socialization, externalization, combination, and internalization. We perform these four steps by using a video annotation system installed on a PC and show the details of knowledge management.
