Abstract
Stainless steel non-woven fibrous filters with several of fiber diameters, basis weight and porosity were used to examine the effects of these variables on filtration characteristics and pore size distribution. The pore size distributions of those filters were measured by differential flow method (DFM). The average pore sizes measured by DFM were almost same with liquid permeation method. The computer simulations of 2D model filter were done to compare with experimental data.
