A study of utilized fields and roles of visual facilitation for its future development

Abstract

This paper intends to contribute to the future development of visual facilitation. To understand the current methodological landscape of explicit knowledge around the area, forty-three documents were surveyed. Through this survey, six fields and twenty-seven roles were identified as a recent utilized area.
By investigating those findings further, an important fact that required roles of visual facilitation vary depending on the main purposes of the PLACE was discovered. Because of this diverse utilization, preferred and emphasized methods are different in each of the fields.
