Abstract

To develop regional economies and regional entities is needed making much added values and opportunities for employment. In addition, it is necessary to circulate added value within regional economies. We evaluate the contribution of regional economies and regional entities by Employment Support Office in Hilly and Mountainous Areas. We analyzed the financial data and relationships of the Nozominooka Work Center. We evaluated the contribution of regional economies using various financial indicators and the amount of monetary returns to the area. The main results are as follows: 1) The added value ratio and labor productivity are higher than the national average of welfare benefits for persons with disabilities. Thus, this office contributes to high added value in this area; and 2) The amount of added value returns to the area is approximately 50.76 million yen per year.
