Abstract

The purpose of this study is to grasp and analyze inhabitants' consciousness toward environment-conscious activities for an irrigation pond in a suburban area to promote these activities. We applied a social psychology model to analyze their consciousness. The conclusion is as follows. There are some problems to form behavior intension and promote these activities; 1)increasing the interest in this irrigation pond, 2)improving the subjective Benefit/Cost ratio, etc... Considering these results, we propose two measures for promotion of environment-conscious activities.
