Abstract

We analyze the process of community independence building and the factors affecting the process by participatory observation. The process can be divided in the following stages, 1) recognizing present situation of the community, 2) understanding what the problems are, 3) preparing to participate in activities for solving the problems, 4) doing practice passively, 5) doing practice spontaneously. And the factors affecting the practical stage are, 1) member's composition, 2) characters of activities, 3) good cooperation among the participants.
