Abstract
The purpose of this article is to examine the continuity of farming by corporations through leasing farmland, especially from the viewpoint of industry group. By analyzing the results of the questionnaire survey sent to Specific Corporations, it was found that corporations from food industry, construction industry and other industries could increase continuity of farming by improving different factors in each industry such as the number of workers, relationship with local people, supports from local governments. There is also possibility that non-profit industry enter into agriculture. Rather, the non-profit industry has the strong potential of contributing to the projects around regional farming system.
