Abstract

The Basic Act on Food Education was enacted in 2005. However, various issues that needs to be solved to supply and use more locally produced foodstuffs for school lunches have been pointed out. In this research, we surveyed and analyzed the case of the school lunches in MD area of T City. One of the members of S project formed the group which supplies agricultural products for school lunches. The member of S project and a member of Community-Reactivating Cooperator Squad in MD area are supporting the distribution of locally produced foodstuffs to school lunches. The amount of locally produced agricultural products for school lunches has been increasing in MD area.
