Abstract
I tried a study of what mental evaluation using Semantic Differencial (SD) method what they pay attention to landscape worth of the windbreak produced as one of the infrastructures in agriculture, Tokachi. Consequently, in profile analysis, a result in which every categories for investigation has an impression strong against the adjective which can be judged to be desirable of “beautiful”, “calm”, “stable”, “static”, “forcible” and “extended” was brought. In factor analysis the Memuro town agricultural resident esteemed the factor considered to originate in the original function of a windbreak “stable” and “grave” profound nature. A Memuro town non-agricultural resident does high evaluation generally, and is estimating it “open” and “harmony” which considered to originate from the form of a windbreak highly. The metropolitan area resident esteemed “stable” and “grave”.
