Abstract
In this paper we present a new NPR technique to generate pastel-like computer graphics image. First of all, we generate the pastel stroke model from parameters that are extracted from 3D object. Next, for each stroke model we add pigment adhesion model that consider paper texture, the change of pressure applied to the paper according to different drawing techniques and the secondary colors resulting from overlapping strokes. After that we render these models. The generated image has pastel-like feature and at the same time all the objects can suffer any transformation. Also, changing parameters gives some other drawing effects that we want.
