Abstract
Quantified scale of body line on the dorsal profile was applied to three peoples in Africa. Statistical computation was introduced to discriminate the character of body curve. Comparison of means on differentiated division suggested more coherent coincidence between the profiles of Moroccan and Kenyan peoples than that of the Ghanaian. A high and strong concavity of waist in female and adipose round back in both sex were characteristic to the people in Ghana. A muscular back of Kenyan and Moroccan people and flatness of the waist in the people of Morocco were counter to the Ghanaian The waist height and concavity displayed varied correlation to other anthropometric measurments of the three peoples respectively. Racial trend may be presumable in correlation to subcutaneous thickness and body strength.
