Abstract
Microfinance is a major area of research in developing countries in recent years.
There is a huge amount of research results, and there is little room for research on new themes. An overview of such research is thought to be helpful in understanding the overall picture of recent empirical research, but it is very difficult to systematically explain all of the MF research fields, In this study, we only give an overview from the perspectives of MFImpact, microfinance institution (MFI) regulation, mission drift, and experimental approach.
