Abstract

Problems of information and communication concerning art are not always in the domain of the so-called information-aesthetics. This is, based on semantics and communicatory engineering, hardly applicable to mental activities of human mind, especially to the very entity of feeling. On the other hand, one of the main problems of aesthetics is inquiry into the essence of feeling which makes the core of the work of art, and the creativity of art is closely connected with human mental activities such as feeling, imagination and expression. In order to dissect the expressiveness of such mental activities, it would be useful to examine the problems of information and communication proper in the artistic activities regardless of the information-aesthetics. Metaphysical thinking, making reference to the notions of aesthetic communication in Kant's aesthetic theory, that is based on sensus communis aestheticus, would be necessary to examine the artistic expressiveness. The theory of symbolic projection of S. K. Langer would be also necessary to elucidate problems of artistic expressiveness. Information and communication concerning art are not transmission of the object in the reality, but projection of the living expressive form into the human mind.
