1) We have confirmed again that the process of nitrification Ls a whole is an auto-catalytic mono-molecular chemical reaction a, nd that the increase of nitric acid in the process is in accordance with the formula:
log x-log(A-x)=K(t-t1)
2) The process of the diminution of ammonia compounds from the soil is a auto-catalytic chemical reaction. Decrease of ammonia nitrogen is expressed in the formula:
log(A-x)/log(x-a)=(A-a)Kt-K1,
where x is the amount of nitrogen in the form of ammonia at the end of time t, and A and a respectively denote the original and final amount of ammonia. K is a constant and K1 is also constant.
